I'm Kari

My name is Kari, and I grew up on a farm in a small Northern Nevada town. I pursued a career as a dental hygienist, and after more than 15 years in dentistry, I decided to return to my roots on the farm. I find joy in driving all the equipment and helping my family. Our dogs, Boomer and Cobh, love having acres to run around on. When traveling, I enjoy walking through small towns, meeting locals in cafes, and getting lost in the adventure to fully immerse myself in the experience. My ultimate travel advice, whether for local or international trips, is to have a photographer capture your moments in a location of your choosing.

I'm Donald like the Duck

I’m Donald, and I always introduce myself as “Donald, like the duck” to help people remember my name. I also grew up in Northern Nevada and graduated with a degree in civil engineering, but I have many passions. Currently, I work as a technology entrepreneur, which has opened my eyes to even more possibilities. I’ve become educated and obsessed with drones and photography, a passion my grandfather shared, allowing me to see things from a new perspective. I love everything about traveling. From meeting new people and doing things that are off the beaten path—even when my wife switches the GPS to “eco” mode. My ultimate travel advice is to maximize award points, be it from credit cards or travel partners.
